Adam Allerhand joined Plexus Ventures in 2001 following a successful marketing career at Beecham, SmithKline Beecham and GlaxoSmithKline.  Mr. Allerhand has extensive market and product development credentials in Western Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa.  Mr. Allerhand  has lived at various times in Hong Kong, Singapore, Poland and the United Kingdom. 

Mr. Allerhand has vast operational experience in managing within emerging markets and served as SmithKline Beecham's first resident General Manager in Poland.  During his tenure, Adam Allerhand launched the company's antibiotic, Augmentin®, which propelled revenue growth.  In addition to his ethical pharmaceutical expertise, Mr. Allerhand also worked several years within GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare; he was responsible for the development of the OTC and oral care business in markets in Central and Eastern Europe. 

While at Plexus Ventures, Mr. Allerhand served as an interim Commercial Director for Jelfa S.A. of Poland for a six month period.  He has also worked on important assignments for Novartis, Eisai and Polfa Kutno.
