Dr. Lindner has extensive experience with development-stage companies (Isolagen, Orphagenix and Embera NeuroTherapeutics), a technology transfer firm (BTG International) and with global pharmaceutical firms (SmithKline Beecham and Rhône-Poulenc Rorer).
Dr. Lindner earned her medical degree at the Chicago Medical School/University of Health Sciences. She is Board Certified in Clinical Nutrition and Internal Medicine. From 1991 through 1998, Dr. Lindner worked at Rhone-Poulenc Rorer (now Sanofi-Aventis) where she held many positions ranging from Assistant Director of Clinical Development to Executive Director, Business Development and Licensing. During her time at RPR, Dr. Lindner spent four years at Gencell, RPR's gene and cell therapy division. In 1998, Dr. Lindner joined SmithKlineBeecham (now GlaxoSmithKline) where she served as Global Director of Business Development. In 2000, Dr. Lindner joined Elan as Vice President of Medical Market Strategy in the Drug Delivery division and in 2003, she was named Vice President, Strategic Business Development at BTG. In recent years, Dr. Lindner’s entrepreneurial skills have been directed to assist a number of development–stage companies.
