Since 2000, Valerio Zoja has served as Plexus Ventures' sales, marketing and business development expert in Southern Europe with a principal focus on the Italian pharmaceutical and self-medication markets.  Previously, Mr. Zoja served SmithKline Beecham Consumer Healthcare as Vice President and General Manager for Italy and Greece.  During his 15 years with SmithKline Beecham, Mr. Zoja held numerous executive positions including General Manager of Operations for the pharmaceutical business in Italy.  Prior to joining SB, Mr. Zoja spent three years with Maggioni Farmaceutici SpA and nine years with William H. Rorer.

Mr. Zoja has vast experience in sales, marketing and general management.  He has acquired an in-depth understanding of the Southern European marketplace for both ethical pharmaceutical products and OTC remedies.  During his career, Mr. Zoja has capably handled numerous negotiations involving acquisitions, divestitures and mergers.
