Krzysztof Pawelczyk joined Plexus Ventures in 2010 following 20 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with expertise in strategic management, business development and commercial operations.

Dr. Pawelczyk worked for international companies TEVA, IVAX, Boehringer Ingelheim and Polish domestic firms Polfa Kutno, Polpharma and Bioton. His experience includes serving as a senior executive and consultant in both publicly listed, Warsaw Stock Exchange companies and private companies, controlled by leading private equity funds or individual owners. Krzysztof has managed commercial operations in Poland, Russia, Switzerland and has directed strategic business development activities for the CEE region. During the past 12 years, as a member of senior management teams, Krzysztof developed organic growth strategies, led restructuring processes, managed R&D efforts and helped lead integration efforts following two company mergers.

Dr. Pawelczyk received his medical degree from Medical Academy in Poznań and M.Sc. from the University of Warsaw. He holds an MBA from University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign.
