Daniel joined Plexus Ventures in 2019 and is based at the biotech hubs of Cambridge, Massachusetts and Paris, France. Covering these areas, he is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.

Daniel is a former research fellow at Harvard Medical School, where he focused on the genetic basis of tissue development in health and disease. He received a Ph.D. in Genetics from Monash University, Australia, followed by research positions in Australia, France, and the US, where he conducted research in areas such as genome editing, in vivo and in vitro disease modelling and next-gen sequencing (NGS).

Due to his background and experience, Daniel focuses on expanding Plexus’ capabilities towards cutting-edge fields such as gene and cell therapies.
