Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – Plexus Ventures announces the appointment of Dr. Daniel Sieiro Mosti as Scientific Associate. Dr. Sieiro is a former research fellow at Harvard Medical School where he focused on the genetic basis of tissue development in health and disease. He received a Ph.D. in Genetics from Monash University, Australia, followed by research positions in Australia, France, and the US, where he conducted research in areas such as genome editing, in vivo and in vitro disease modelling and next-generation sequencing (NGS).
Daniel, who is fluent in Spanish, French and English, is dual-based at the biotech hubs of Cambridge, Massachusetts and Paris, France.
Richard Brown, Plexus Ventures’ partner, said Plexus will benefit from Daniel’s background and experience and his focus on expanding Plexus’ capabilities in cutting-edge fields such as gene and cell therapies.
