Dr. Chika Yoshinaga joined the Plexus team in Japan in 2014, after holding senior positions at Quintiles and at venture capital firms, Sofinnova Partners and NIF SMBC Ventures. Dr. Yoshinaga received her M.D. at Shanghai Medical University (China) and earned an M.S. in Bioengineering at Yokohama National University (Japan).  

Through her strong network in both China and Japan, Chika offers clients an objective perspective when evaluating licensing partners in either country. Chika led the effort to secure the optimal partner in China on behalf of a European client. 

With her medical training and experience at Quintiles, Chika applies her knowledge of clinical development and regulatory requirements in Asia to support clients wishing to plan the best path for market entry.
